Dr. Tara Bell
Dr. Bell grew up in Minnesota and is happy to now call Cary home. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 1998. While at Notre Dame, she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society and is currently an active member. She then completed her dental training at Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2002, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Bell is committed to providing the latest advances in dental technology to her patients, and has completed courses at the acclaimed Las Vegas Institute and Pankey Institute. She is currently an active member in the regional chapter of the renowned Seattle Study Club. This invitation-only organization focuses on team treatment planning and improving dental knowledge to achieve ideal and comprehensive patient care. In addition to serving her patients, she is also a volunteer dentist at the Samaritan Health Center, which provides dental care to homeless women and children. Away from the dental office, she enjoys running, tennis, and golf.
Holly grew up in Goldsboro, North Carolina and now lives in Apex with her husband, 2 little boys, and her vizsla. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1997 with a BA in Communications. She spent the next 6 years as a flight attendant for United Airlines, serving both North American and International routes, and was based in Chicago, IL and then in Washington, DC. Holly went back to school in 2003, and earned her AAS in Dental Hygiene from Wake Technical Community College. She graduated at the top of her class and was active in College Government as the Health Sciences Campus Senator and served as Vice President of the Student Dental Hygiene Association. She received awards from the ADA Foundation and the NC Dental Hygiene Academy of Advanced Studies. Holly currently serves as the alumni member of the Wake Tech Dental Hygiene Advisory Committee. When not at work, Holly enjoys trips to Emerald Isle, cheering for the Tar Heels, and serving in the children’s program at her church. “I absolutely love working here. The patients are great and the office is simply gorgeous– what a treat to be a part of this family!” Holly prides herself in thorough dental cleanings and assessments, and will offer suggestions and recommendations of her findings. The hygiene room is equipped with aromatherapy, paraffin wax treatments, a massaging patient chair, cable TV, and digital radiographs.
Claudia grew up in Strasburg, Ohio and later in Greensboro, North Carolina. She attended the Dental Assisting program at Guilford Technical Community College and graduated in 2000. Claudia has had additional training with the Nash Institute, and Levin group where she was educated by top dental professionals. She has recently returned to school to complete her fellowship in Dental Office Management and will graduate in the fall of 2014. She is a member of the North Carolina Association of Dental Office Managers, American Association of Dental Office Managers, and the chairman of the Cary Panther Creek High School Business Alliance. In her spare time Claudia loves to spend time with her husband, family, and enjoys taking long walks with her dog Elle in the local area parks. Cooking and listening to music are her favorite past times. Claudia’s dedication to providing office and staff support, as well as high quality customer care, have had a strong influence in our office and continues to make our dental team strive for excellence.
Jamie was born and raised in Northern California and worked for over 10 years there in education and finance. She moved to North Carolina with her husband in 2010 and continued a career focused on customer service. In 2013 she extended her interpersonal skills into the dental field when she joined Bell Family Dentistry. Jamie’s kind and cheerful personality lends to our office’s warm atmosphere and both adults and children immediately feel at home when they meet her. She specializes in working with patients to find convenient appointment times that accommodate their busy schedules. Jamie is always on hand to offer complementary beverages and she enjoys handing out surprises from the toy chest to our younger patients. Jamie enjoys spending time with her two adorable Rat Terriers, Lizzy and Lucy. When she’s not playing with her dogs, Jamie’s other hobbies include scrapbooking, hiking in nearby state parks, and attending the local music scene with her husband.
