We are not satisfied until you are.
At Bell Family Dentistry, your safety and protection are our top priorities. We go above and beyond what is required by state and federal laws in our sterilization and infection control procedures. For instrument sterilization, we utilize ultrasonic agitation and steam autoclaves (high heat and pressure) to ensure the sterility of our dental instruments. We add another layer of protection by packaging instruments in sterilization bags and resin or metal cassettes, which are only opened on an individualized patient basis. Weekly spore tests are performed on all autoclaves to monitor their safety and effectiveness, and all of our equipment is maintained according to manufacturer’s specifications. We thoroughly clean and disinfect all patient and clinician surfaces prior to your arrival. When possible, disposable dental supplies are utilized to prevent any possibility of cross-contamination. All tests and cleaning procedures are properly logged and are available for your inspection. Our staff has been trained in proper infection control techniques, and we attend annual OSHA continuing education courses.
